Terms

Last updated

These terms are the agreement between [company name, owner to supply] (“RedStick”) and the business that signs up for RedStick Booking (“you”). By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to them.

What RedStick Booking is

RedStick Booking is an appointment book with online booking, payments and a website for your business. We run it for you and keep it available, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. [owner/counsel to confirm]

Plans and prices

There are two paid plans. Self-Managed: you build and change your site with the editor. Managed: we build the site and look after it, and you approve every change before it goes live. Current prices, setup fees and minimum terms are on the prices page and are shown again before you pay.

There is no free plan and no trial. You pay when you sign up and again each billing period. Payment is taken by Stripe. If a payment fails, we ask you to fix it, and if it stays unpaid we lock the account and later cancel it. [owner/counsel to confirm]

Cancelling

You can cancel from the dashboard. Self-Managed can be cancelled at any time and stays active to the end of the period you paid for. [owner/counsel to confirm]

Managed has a minimum term, shown with the price. You can cancel during the term, but you owe the plan for the rest of it. [owner/counsel to confirm] Setup fees are not refunded. [owner/counsel to confirm]

After cancelling, your account stays for 90 days so you can come back, then we delete it as the privacy page describes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use RedStick Booking to:

  • pretend to be a business or a person you are not;
  • sell anything illegal, or anything you have no right to sell;
  • ask customers for details your business has no reason to ask for;
  • send spam, or try to break, overload or get around the service.

Anyone can report a site from the “Report abuse” link in its footer. We read every report and may take a site offline or end an account that breaks these rules.

Your customers and their data

You decide what to ask your customers and what to do with their details. You are responsible for having the right to hold them, for what your site says, and for your own cancellation and refund terms. We store the data and process it for you, as the privacy page explains.

Payments from your customers go through Stripe, to your own connected Stripe account. You agree to Stripe’s terms for that account.

Services you connect

Calendars, payment accounts and other services you connect stay yours and are covered by their own terms. You can disconnect them at any time.

Liability

[owner/counsel to confirm: warranty disclaimer]

[owner/counsel to confirm: limit of liability and cap]

[owner/counsel to confirm: indemnity]

Law and changes

[owner/counsel to confirm: governing law and where disputes are heard]

We may change these terms. We tell you by email before a change that matters takes effect, and the date at the top changes. Questions go to the contact page.
